Well, it’s been a busy time lately! We’re about half way through the Easter holidays, with relatively non crazy numbers, just kidding, as usual, numbers were a little nuts with chocolate eggs for breakfast and a blocked cannula thrown into the mix on Easter Sunday! Oh well! 🙂 New pump change and all sorted again and back to munching through those yummy eggs!
Today Simon, Chloe and I were asked to give a short interview at BBC Sussex and Surrey radio! We were very nervous, and it was a very early start, but it was great fun, and we appreciated out breakfasts at Mc Donalds afterwards! We chatted on the radio about what T1D is and what life is like, especially for children and young people. We were asked about GT1 and it was lovely to be able to say how well it’s all going, with so many families coming and relaxing together once a month.
We have the Easter GT1 session coming up on Tuesday 5th April with lots of Easter themed fun in store, and I’m so excited about our family quiz night on 23rd April at St Marks Church in Horsham! (Please give me a shout of you’d like to book a table!)
