About us

GT1 was set up in June 2015, for children and young people with Type 1 Diabetes. Each time we meet, the children have the option to join in with a planned craft activity, or games. They can meet other children with T1D, their siblings and parents in a relaxed environment.

Sessions

We meet on the 1st Tuesday of every month in The Phoenix Club, Comptons Lane, Horsham, West Sussex, RH13 5NW, all through the year, even in the school holidays, from 4:15pm – 5:30pm.

We meet on the 1st Tuesday of every month in Horsham. You don’t need to commit to coming every month, there are no joining fees and no pressure to engage in any of the activities when you are with us. It’s simply a safe and fun place to be with people who understand the challenges that we all face.

Parents/guardians must attend to supervise their children and bring all diabetes equipment their child requires.
